One of my neighbours appears to be learning how to play the guitar. I know this because they’ve been playing the Smoke on the Water riff for the past hour and a half and I want them to somehow fall onto the guitar and be strangled by the strings.

Highly unlikely but man at least they’d shut up.

I went shopping over the weekend to try and find this damned dress to wear to the upcoming wedding. I didn’t buy a dress.

I did find the dress, exactly as I’d pictured it. In a size 8.

I am not a size 8. So I got bummed out and bought a new bag instead. It’s pretty gorgeous. I named it Sophia.

God, I need a life.

Sophia is very pretty.

Erm, was there actual smoke or was it just on the water? That dude sounds a lot like Guitar Boy (looks like he’s pushing 50) downstairs. I would find it weird if he’d moved.

There is only so much “Smoke on the Water” one can handle. I read this first thing this morning and I’ve had that song stuck in my head all day!! You’re not alone…:P Sophia is very nice. And the issue you had with the dress is exactly why I hate shopping. Used to love it, when I could fit into those sizes, but that was like 6 years ago. 🙁 Maybe you’ll get lucky and George will find his collar or something.

Nailpolishblues – It was a butchering of Smoke and On the Water.

It ended up going for about 2 hours and I was ready to track the man down and beat him to death with his guitar.

Suvvy – Yeah, sorry about that.

And I completely agree, I mean you’d think suppliers would cotton on to the fact that the size 12 and up always sell out the quickest, but they don’t. At least I can go back to shopping for nothing in particular which is when I find the best stuff.
